I have no idea on the cache widget. It SOUNDS like the plugin may not be compatible.

Any chance you could provide some info on how you imported the users from wp to vb? I have the same task to do for 7000 users and I have spent days trying to work it out.

If you are using the vBulletin bridge, then there is no importing of users that takes place.
