I followed the directions Jeff gave in the initial post and when I complete the installation the posts already on WP have new authors. I had this same problem when trying to use the old plug in on WP3.x(Im using 4.x now). I know the plug in isn't meant for 4.x, but I've heard of people using it with no problems so I decided to take another crack at it.

The posts made after the plug in is installed have the correct user name, its just the ones made before the plug in was installed that are faulty.

Would anyone know how to fix this issue?
