You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
Hi Jeff, I tried installing your plugin and I am not able to make it work.
I am trying to integrate vBulletin 3.8.6 Patch Level 1 with Wordpress 3.1. I do the following steps: 1 - Upload the folder vbbridge and its contents to wp-contents/plugin directory 2 - When I try activating the plugin I get the error "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page." and cannot continue to the next installation steps. After that, if I cannot login to the administration area of WP. The only way I can get access again to the admin area of WP is to delete the vbbridge folder in the plugin directory. I have searched through vbulletin.org and lampwrights.com but cannot find a suitable answer to my problem. I have tried with no success: - Same administrator name in VB and WP - Different administrator name in WP and VB - Even tried changing the usergroup names in VB to match the "roles" in WP. I think the problem is related to not mapping VB users, but because I cannot access the wordpress control panel after I activate the plugin, I am unable to complete this task. Could you please help me? Thank you in advance for your help Regards |

Did you map the users BEFORE you turned on the WP admin control panel integration?

Jeff, thank you for your reply.
No, I didn't map the users. I thought I was only supposed to map the users after I configured the relative path to the forum and for that I need access to the Vbridge Settings. But immediately after I activate the plugin in the WP plugin area, I lose access to the WP admin control panel, so I cannot even access the Vbridge Settings. Is there a way to map the users before activating the plugin in the WP plugin area? |

Found the problem! It was so simple I cant believe I lost hours looking for the solution.
I just had to comment the line: Code:
define('USE_ADMINCP_BRIDGE', true); I will be testing your wonderful plugin in the next hours but for now its working great. I am just missing one thing, the avatars are not showing in Wordpress. Thank you very much Jeff |
